The KIWI Foundation was established by Torrey and Teresa Lang in memory of our beloved daughter and only child, Tori “KIWI” Lang, who was tragically murdered.
In the face of our profound loss, we have committed ourselves to turning tragedy into triumph by dedicating our lives to helping teens and adolescents become better versions of themselves, ensuring that no parent has to endure the pain of losing a child to the dangers of society.
Our mission is to raise awareness and work towards ending gender-based violence and child abuse through social intervention and behaviour awareness. This is not a goal with an end but a lifelong commitment to turning tragedy into triumph by providing alternatives and resources to address the misguided conditions in which our children are brought up.
Our vision is to help as many teens and adolescents as possible become the best versions of themselves by utilizing available resources and ultimately becoming resourceful, productive individuals in the community. There’s nothing more powerful than an idea whose time has come. If we all work together, we can manifest miracles and motion.
The KIWI Foundation thrives on introducing teens and adolescents to a variety of creative self-development ideas, such as entrepreneurship, government, skilled trades, and more. These alternatives help divert time and attention away from the overwhelming dangers in society that our kids are facing. By working together and raising awareness about social violence and drug prevention, we enhance critical thinking for growth and development.
All donated proceeds benefit communities by providing essential resources and support services for survivors of gender-based violence and child abuse. This includes counseling, shelter, legal assistance, and educational programs aimed at prevention and empowerment.
Together, we can make a meaningful difference in the lives of those affected by these issues and work towards creating safer, more inclusive communities for all.
